New Exciting Opportunity for Nursery Practitioners!
We are now recruiting EYFS Nursery Assistants for some exciting opportunities in January 2025.
Our Nursery prides itself on building relationships, gaining trust and making a difference in children’s learning and development.
For this role, you will be working as a Nursery Assistant, supporting children through a nurturing approach.
This role will be supporting children with SEN and SEMH needs within a Nursery setting.
* Hours: Full-time Monday - Friday (hours may vary)
* Pay: £12.90 - £14.50
* Location: Burnley Nursery
Your Responsibilities:
1. Provide education in a safe, fun and stimulating environment.
2. Carry out observations to identify gaps in children’s development.
3. Work collaboratively with the Nursery Teacher, SENCO, and parents to ensure children access the EYFS Framework.
4. Provide additional 1:1 support to children with SEN.
5. Prioritise the well-being and development of your key children.
6. As a Key Worker, carry out engaging activities to meet the needs of your children.
7. Provide daily care to your key children, encouraging independence.
8. Be calm and approachable for children, parents/carers, and staff, demonstrating clear communication.
9. Promote high standards of quality within the nursery learning environment.
Your Requirements:
1. Excellent understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN).
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Excellent understanding of the EYFS framework.
4. Passion for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
5. Relevant experience working with children in a childcare setting.
6. Level 2 or Level 3 EYFS Qualification or equivalent.
7. Enhanced DBS Check.
8. A minimum of 1 year working in a Nursery setting.
