About the role An opportunity has arisen for a Customs Project Co-Ordinator to join the Finance department in a rapidly expanding and exciting work environment. Working within the Global Trade Compliance Function, you will work with the Senior Customs Compliance Project Manager to ensure all Foreign Trade data is captured within our ERP system for our Decarb programme. You will work with all business units to ensure the order to delivery process in mapped and delivered to ensure customs compliance. Working part of a team as the Decarb team achieving Real Zero by 2030 across Fortescue. What you will do Liaise with the procurement and engineering team to ensure foreign trade data implementation for the project. Co-ordinate data collection and initiate reporting activities. Aftermarket – support with operational customs activities throughout the product warranty period, including but not limited to spares, repairs and maintenance Assist the project team to ensure all products and components are captured within our ERP system. Support with the implementation and maintenance of polices for future product release. Work with the supply chain team to ensure trade compliance requirements are captured from suppliers and customers. Work with technical partners to review bills of material and technical drawings for all new product releases. Evaluate and support the implementation of a system to capture data to allow for Free Trade Agreements to be utilised. Audit and Monitoring – Develop and implement an audit plan for the project Research topics in relation to Customs Compliance Work closely with the Logistics and Service delivery team to ensure timely export of products About you Proven experience working in a Global Trade environment. Experience developed within the Aerospace, Automotive or Manufacturing sectors is essential. Excellent interpersonal skills when communicating with technical engineers and senior management. Confidence to be resolute in the application of Customs compliance and to challenge commercial and business teams on this where necessary. A team player with the ability to work with own initiative and able to influence others IT literates including MS products. Knowledge of Teams centre, D365 and SAP advantageous What is in it for you?
