Integration & Partnership officers play a key and integral role in ensuring people arriving in the UK as part of one of the Government’s schemes, and allocated to Doncaster, are able to settle quickly and safely in the borough.
Duties include supporting a team that helps clients integrate and have a positive impact as a citizen of Doncaster as quickly as possible, with the specific remit to assist people to:
* Prepare themselves for life in the UK
* Find their own accommodation
* Access Education, Training & Employment opportunities
* Assess any additional issues, making appropriate referrals where necessary
The Integration & Partnerships Team is made up of a number of people from different backgrounds who bring a variety of skills, knowledge and experience to the role. The team works closely with other teams within the Council and its partners, along with the Voluntary and Community Sector.
You will bring a positive attitude and a willingness to work flexibly, carrying out various administrative functions to meet the needs of the team, ensuring the smooth running of the team allowing I&P Officers to focus on supporting clients and keeping partners involved in, and informed about our work.
Experience of various software packages including bespoke financial systems and working with partners from mainstream and Voluntary and Community Sector organisations would be an advantage.
