Kettering Science Academy is on an exciting journey. Following our Ofsted 'Good' judgement in July 2023, we are focused on consolidating excellent teaching and learning across all subjects. In Maths, we are determined to build on solid foundations and create a beacon of best practice. We are now seeking a Lead Practitioner who will work closely with the Head of Maths and maths team to bring this vision to life.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and skilled teacher to take the next step in their leadership journey. You will play a key role in improving teaching and learning across the department, supporting with curriculum development, and contributing to the professional growth of colleagues through coaching and CPD. You will also have opportunities to influence wider school improvement through collaborative projects and whole-school pedagogy.

What We’re Looking For:
1. An excellent Maths practitioner with a proven record of strong outcomes across a range of student groups, in particular A-level and Higher Tier GCSE maths.
2. A teacher with the experience and skill to coach, mentor and develop others.
3. A creative and knowledgeable curriculum thinker, committed to research-informed practice.
4. A leader who can model excellent teaching and confidently deliver training and CPD.
5. A collaborative team player with the drive to shape and influence whole-school improvement.
