Summary
The successful candidate will be working on an exceptional yard with an array of excellent faciities and must be experienced with horses, a confident rider and ready to undertake a Level 3 Senior Equine Groom role. Level 2 will also be considered. Accommodation can be offered, and livery for your own horse may be an option.

What you’ll do at work
Matt Lanni is one of the most highly qualified coaches in British Showjumping, and the owner of Halefield Stud. Based in Peterborough, PE8 5EG the successful candidate will be working on an exceptional yard with an array of excellent faciities. In return, the successful apprentice will be experienced with horses, a confident rider and ready to undertake a Level 3 Senior Equine Groom role. Level 2 will also be considered.
Onsite facilities include:

* Competition and Sales Livery
The right candidate will be invited to groom at shows and be able to ride as part of their qualification.
The role will include:
* Turning out and bringing in
* Mucking out
* Dealing with livery clients
* Feeding, watering and haying
* Grooming
* Clipping and trimming
* Maintaining the cleanliness of the yard at all times
* Bandaging
* Tacking up
* Lunging/long rein
* Riding/hacking
* Attending shows/events
You must be a UK resident or have lived in the EU for 3 years or more to apply for this role. If you have a Level 3 Equine qualification already you are unable to apply for this programme.

Your training plan
All training will be provided on site during your paid working hours. Your day to day mentoring will be with your employer, and a combination of online and in person monthly sessions will be held with your Haddon Training Trainer Coach.
