Learning and Skills are seeking to recruit a Learning and Skills Tutor to plan, deliver and support a Study Programme in Darlington for 16-19 year old learners. Darlington Learning and Skills Service is a highly performing education and training provider, graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible and committed professional to develop, deliver and assess a range of programmes including maths, English and Employability.
Primarily we are looking for a tutor who can work with young people aged 16-19, has experience of working with and supporting learners with LLDD/SEND and can take responsibility for EHCP reviews.
As part of the delivery team, you will have a key role to play in developing, delivering and supporting accredited and non-accredited learning programmes to meet the needs of our learners, as well as liaising with families. The programmes are designed to inspire learners to progress onto further learning, training, employment and volunteering. Experience of coordinating programmes would also be an advantage. In return, we offer training, the support of a small, friendly and forward-thinking team with a passion for offering quality provision to the most vulnerable in our community.
