Our client has been providing forward thinking printing and packaging solutions to high profile clients for decades. Currently going through an exciting growth period, they are looking for an Operations Director to oversee and manage the company’s day to day operations in line with business objectives.
The Operations Director will be responsible for planning, implementing and overseeing the company’s daily operations, taking into consideration the successful management of labour, productivity, quality control and safety measures. As this position is crucial for the success of the business, we want you to have a strong sense of ownership and pride in your performance, and its impact on the company’s success. You will have an abundance of experience in the printing industry, along with high levels of motivation and ambition.
Working closely with the Managing Director, you will strategise and develop long term plans that usher in new levels of productivity and success for the company while responding to rapidly shifting business demands.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes to provide visibility into the goals, progress, and obstacles of key initiatives
2. Draw on relationships with department heads, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals
3. Plan, monitor, and analyse key metrics for day-to-day operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks
4. Devise strategies for ensuring growth, and implement process improvements to maximise output and minimise costs
5. Adhere to the company’s policies and standards, and ensure that industry regulations are being followed
6. Lead team with integrity to establish and maintain a productive environment
You must be a master organiser, communicator and leader, with a superior knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles. The ideal candidate for this role will go above and beyond to develop innovative solutions that push boundaries.
