Monday - Friday 07:00am - 17:00pm
Saturday 07:30am -13:30pm
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver in Launceston who can be trained up to also operate the other Plant machinery onsite. Operative to join a busy material transfer station in Launceston.
Key responsibilities:
· Efficiently loading materials into containers or vehicles for transport and unloading incoming materials.
· Safely operating mobile plant, including cleaning and maintenance of equipment and ensuring it is used correctly.
· Managing traffic, such as guiding tipping vehicles.
· Operate the weighbridge and accurately record the weight and other specified details of vehicles both entering and leaving the site.
· Ensuring you follow all health and safety regulations.
· Co-operating with other employees to comply with site permits, all applicable legislation and policies and procedures.
· Co-operating directly with customers and members of the public, providing excellent customer service.
Requirements:
· Front loader or 360 excavator license preferable
· Counterbalance forklift license.
· Great communication and customer service skills
· Team player
· Expected to provide cover for annual leave and help cover weekends.
· Prior waste / recycling or similar process environment highly advantageous.
