About the Role
Your key functions will be to:
* Co-ordinate support for children and families identified as in need of early help (0-5 years; 0-10 in some instances) in the Bath West (Twerton, Southdown and Whiteway) area
* Lead on the ‘Engagement with Dads’ and ‘Community Engagement’ portfolios for, and across, the service
* Provide line management to a small Family Support team
* Build partnerships in local community and facilitate multi-agency understanding of Children’s Centre service developments
* Chair and attend multi-agency meetings which seek to ensure optimal service provision for families
* Monitor and ensure quality service provision
* Support writing of service impact reports for portfolio-specific Children’s Centre services
About You
The successful candidate will be expected to have:
* High level knowledge and experience of safeguarding children
* Line Management experience
* Leadership skills
* Experience of working in multi-agency way to to identify and support children and families who have experienced or are experiencing Adverse Childhood and Community Experiences.
* An in-depth knowledge and experience in supervising staff.
* Experience of chairing multi-agency meetings
* Experience of supporting quality assurance processes.
You will need to work in a compassionate, participatory and democratic way and alongside other Children’s Centre Co-ordinators within Bath and North East Somerset to support the ongoing development and delivery of a high-quality service for children and families.
