Teaching Personnel are working in collaboration with an Ofsted ‘GOOD’ rated secondary school on the search for a Religious Teacher to start full time in September 2025.
This is a large Secondary School hosting over 1200 pupils and part of a successful Trust. As a Religious Teacher, this role also holds the possibility of furthering your career with the opportunity to step into TLR.
The school is located at the heart of Northampton, easily accessible via public transport from Kettering, Wellingborough, Corby, with ample staff parking on site.
Your new role:
The role involves teaching Religious Studies predominantly to Year 7 - Year 11 GCSE classes (KS3/4). A Religious Studies Teacher with at least 1 year of experience teaching Religious Studies to GCSE is essential.
In a well-equipped religious education department, your role as a Religious Teacher will allow you to be creative and dynamic with your teaching style due to the excellent facilities on site. You will be responsible for planning, marking, and delivering Religious Studies lessons to your timetabled KS3 and KS4 classes, with PPA time included. You must arrive no later than 8:15 am and finish at 3:10 pm.
Pay: You would be paid to the National Teacher Pay Scale salary between M1 - UPS1 on a daily rate equivalent.
