WHAT TO EXPECT The Vehicle Workshop team is part of Chassis Dyno Operations and Engineering Operations (EO10). The team maintains a productive workflow from the workshop and delivers test capability to the Powertrain Engineering and Certification teams. The team delivers and supports the engineering teams with vehicle modification, repair, and preparation of powertrain and vehicle systems. Our function is to support the stakeholder teams from Powertrain and PC&D in their objective of achieving a ‘timely, quality’ product release. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities • Daily workshop activities to support requirements for Powertrain / Engineering Operations requests • Oversee vehicle testing fitter support • A safe and world-class working environment • Support of overseas vehicle test trips, including working both as a team and individually to provide technical assistance and rectification on test vehicles • Support of company H&S and environmental requirements, i.e., RA, HAV, COSHH, and iPoint regulations WHAT YOU'LL NEED • Indentured apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 vocational qualification in Mechanical or Motor Vehicle Engineering with 3 years of relevant technical experience • Functional Skills level 2 equivalent in English, Maths, and Science • Computer literate, including Microsoft Office and Excel, preferably • Excellent knowledge of motor vehicle technology with an up-to-date knowledge of vehicle development, especially new engine types, hybrid, EV, and electronics • Knowledge of H&S and environmental requirements, i.e. RA, HAV, COSHH, and iPoint regulations LI A leading premium automotive business and leading to move towards electric autonomous vehicles.
