We are seeking an experienced Field Service Forklift Engineer to join our team at The Briggs Equipment Group, a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across the UK and Ireland.

About the Role
As a Field Service Forklift Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our customers' material handling equipment. This will include performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting and repairing equipment, and providing training and guidance to customers on the safe operation of their forklifts.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fork lift trucks, including their mechanics, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems. You will also have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work independently, and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance tasks on fork lift trucks, including oil changes, tire checks, and lubrication.
* Troubleshoot and repair complex faults on fork lift trucks, using diagnostic tools and techniques.
* Provide training and guidance to customers on the safe operation of their fork lifts.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements:
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
* Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of fork lift trucks, including their mechanics, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to travel extensively throughout the UK and Ireland.
