We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool practitioner to join our vibrant educational team. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging activities that encourage learning through play while ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement age-appropriate plans that align with early childhood education standards.
2. Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that fosters positive relationships among children.
3. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behaviour, and any concerns.
4. Manage classroom behaviour using positive reinforcement techniques to promote a respectful learning atmosphere.
5. Provide supervision during playtime, ensuring children's safety at all times.
6. Assess children's developmental progress and maintain accurate records of their achievements.
7. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the educational experience for children.
8. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with early childhood education trends and practices.
Requirements
1. A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is essential.
2. Previous experience working with children in a preschool setting is highly desirable.
3. Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
4. Ability to drive initiatives that promote leadership within the classroom environment.
5. A genuine passion for nurturing young minds and fostering their development through creative learning experiences.
6. Excellent organisational skills to manage classroom activities efficiently.
7. A commitment to creating an inclusive environment that respects diversity among children and families.
