Regional Sales Manager – EDM Location: Northern UK (North of Birmingham, including Scotland, Isle of Man & Northern Ireland) Salary: £48,000 - £55,000 depending on experience (OTE £77,000 - £87,000, uncapped) Hours of Work: Officially 9:00am – 5:30pm (flexible) Engineering 365 is currently recruiting for a Regional Sales Manager – EDM on behalf of a leading supplier of EDM CNC machinery. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established company and take responsibility for driving new business growth while managing existing customer relationships across the North of the UK. Job Description: As a Regional Sales Manager, you will focus on increasing market share by developing strong relationships with new and existing customers. You will promote a leading range of EDM machines, providing expert solutions and achieving revenue targets. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular visits and communication. Drive new business development while managing and growing existing accounts (50/50 split). Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact to order placement. Provide detailed and accurate quotations and proposal documents. Attend trade shows and industry events to generate leads. Work closely with engineering and technical teams to ensure customer requirements are met. Stay up to date with market trends, competitors, and industry developments. Use Salesforce CRM to track customer interactions, forecasts, and reports (training provided). Requirements: Minimum 5 years’ experience in EDM sales or as an EDM applications engineer. Experience with leading EDM brands is essential (Makino EDM experience desirable but not required). Ability to self-motivate, multi-task, and work independently. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Willingness to travel extensively across the North of the UK, including Scotland, IOM & Northern Ireland.
