Materials Coordinator
Irvine, CA (Onsite)
Position Summary
Thales seeks a Materials Coordinator to handle physical and administrative tasks in the Centralized Discrepant Material Area (CDMA). Responsibilities include examining materials, ensuring counts match Quality Notifications, distributing materials, and maintaining records. The role involves conducting cycle counts, creating and processing Quality Notifications, and generating CDMA reports for relevant departments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Analyze SAP data to support shipment processes, validate inventory, and recommend processing improvements.
2. Develop process improvements and maintain operational plans supporting shipments and production, including working some weekends.
3. Promote a safe work environment and support lean initiatives.
4. Coordinate with receiving inspection, production control, and shipping departments to complete QN tasks.
5. Create Quality Notification reports using Excel.
Minimum Qualifications
* HS Diploma with at least 2 years of related experience.
* Ability to interpret warehouse workflows and communicate effectively.
* Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems; proficient in MS Excel.
* Project management skills for team coordination.
Position Requirements
* Work hours: Monday-Friday, with occasional weekends.
* Work environment: Warehouse setting.
* Physical: Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
What We Offer
Annual salary range: $32,130 - $59,670 USD, with potential for higher pay and benefits. Benefits include health and dental plans, retirement contributions, paid holidays and leave, and life insurance.
