Description

The starting salary for this role is £52,047 per annum based on a 36-hour working week.
The position is offered on a 12-month fixed-term or secondment basis.

The role is hybrid with at least one day in Woodhatch (usually Tuesday) as well as regular attendance at the three universities. The job will also require regular travel to engage with delivery teams across Surrey, and occasionally further afield.

About the Role
This role will be pivotal in overseeing the operationalisation of the Civic Agreement for Surrey, providing central facilitation and programme management to key partners and stakeholders.
The Civic Agreement is a commitment from Surrey County Council, University of Surrey, Royal Holloway University of London, and University for the Creative Arts to work together to bring about real and positive change to people who live, learn, and work in our communities.
The Delivery Lead will support key Partners to build a portfolio of activity aligned to our vision for economic growth, focusing initially on the innovation theme. The post-holder will work proactively to support the implementation of the Innovation Board Joint Delivery Plan and Civic Agreement.
As this is a jointly funded post, you will report to the Surrey Innovation Board, comprising directors and senior stakeholders from all Surrey universities.
Shortlisting Criteria
To succeed in this post, you will need substantial experience taking projects and ideas from concept to delivery and demonstrable experience working with and influencing decision-makers, driving transformation and change. We are looking for candidates who have a good understanding of innovation ecosystems, negotiation skills, and experience implementing private/public sector partnerships.
