Job Description:
Plantscape Windsor is seeking a motivated and skilled leader to take on the role of Landscape Project Manager & Crew Leader. This full-time, on-site position is ideal for a dedicated professional who thrives in outdoor environments and is passionate about shaping landscapes through meticulous planning, project execution, and hands-on leadership. In this role, you will oversee landscape construction projects, lead a team to ensure job quality and efficiency, and uphold the highest standards of safety and craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership & Crew Management:
● Supervise, train, and mentor landscape crew members.
● Organize daily tasks, delegate responsibilities, and monitor crew productivity.
● Ensure all work meets company standards for quality and efficiency.
● Maintain a positive team environment and resolve on-site challenges.
2. Project Execution:
● Read and interpret project plans, specifications, and blueprints.
● Operate and oversee the use of landscape equipment, tools, and vehicles.
● Ensure proper installation of softscape (plants, sod, mulch) and hardscape (pavers, retaining walls, grading).
● Handle troubleshooting on-site issues, such as drainage, soil conditions, or unexpected obstacles.
3. Safety & Compliance:
● Enforce company and industry safety protocols, ensuring crew compliance.
● Conduct daily safety checks on tools, equipment, and job sites.
● Identify and mitigate potential hazards.
4. Client & Communication Duties:
● Serve as the main point of contact for clients on-site, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
● Communicate effectively with project managers, suppliers, and other team members.
● Document job progress, site conditions, and crew performance.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum in a leadership role.
2. Strong knowledge of horticulture, including both softscape and hardscape elements.
3. Ability to read blueprints and execute landscape designs accurately.
4. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
5. Proficiency in operating landscape equipment such as skid steers, compactors, and power tools.
6. Valid driver’s license (DZ license preferred but not required).
7. Physically fit and capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working in various weather conditions.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 55 per week
