Payments and Expenses Administrator
Hinckley
An opportunity has arisen for a Payments and Expenses Administrator to join the team at Galliford Try.
Ideally, you will based in or around the Hinckley area as this is where our office base is.
What you will be doing:
1. Payments processing and Expenses are part of the operational services provided at the SSC. A dedicated team provide support to the Galliford Try Group.
2. There are circa clerks covering the payments and expenses function and they are managed by a Payments and Expenses Team Leader – who reports to the SSC Operations Manager.
3. Payments Clerks are responsible for the processing of payments to external subcontractors and suppliers as well as intercompany transfers. The investigation and resolution of possible duplicate invoices to ensure duplicate payments are not made. Ensuring all payments made are posted on Oracle and investigating and resolving queries and payments returned to the Divisional Payments Accounts.
4. Additional tasks can be liaison with other SSC teams, build and maintain strong relationships with key BU personnel
5. Key stakeholders are business unit finance teams, suppliers and sub-contractors.
