Are you ready to be part of one of the fastest growing wholesale and retail companies and be a key part of their continued success and growth?\n\nDo you have good retail sales experience?\n\nCan you work independently covering your own area and still be part of the Sales and Head Office Team?\n\nRole Overview\n\nYou will be responsible for seeking out new opportunities by prospecting new clients, developing new business, and growing existing business, within the North East. This includes journey planning, tracking sales and taking full accountability for territory budgets/KPIs.\n\nYou will have a great existing client base from independent retailers to small convenience stores to petrol stations to national retailers and even nightclubs! And you be expected to add to your client base by developing effective working relationships.\n\nYour Area and Where will you be based?\n\nYou will be home based ideally Middlesbrough, Darlington or Durham and cover the whole of the North East region.
If overnight stays are required hotels and meal allowances will be paid for. It is up to you to effectively plan your sales routes to maximise opportunities.\n\nThe job includes:\n\n * To develop and maintain exceptional consultative relationships with existing clients maximising customer retention and brand awareness\n\n * Generate sales and opportunities by prospecting new customers, assess their needs, effectively selling products and offerings\n\n * Develop positive and long-lasting relationships with customers over the phone and face to face, to maximise business potential\n\n * Maintain consistent communication with customers and follow up with prospects in a timely manner\n\n * Carry out well planned client meetings and presentations\n\n * Deliver to KPI’s and Targets set to achieve strategic financial goals\n\n * Prepare and generate quotations for customers\n\n * Maintain records with sales figures, financial reports and relevant customer data\n\n * Collaborate with other Business Development Managers regarding sales figures and to share best practice\n\n * Keep abreast of industry changes, trends, developments and key competitors communicating when necessary\n\nWhat will you bring to the role?\n\n * Previous experience of business-to-business field sales within the FMCG or retail industries\n\n * Experienced in managing strategic sales funnels and translating them into tangible sales\n\n * Demonstratable success against KPIs and targets\n\n * Exceptional communication, presentation and excel skills\n\n * A results-orientated, tenacious self-starter\n\n * Ambitious and keen to drive career forward within with organisation\n\n * Excellent time management and organisational skills\n\nWhat will you get in return?\n\nCompetitive salary\n\nBonus £1K-£1.5K plus per month\n\nHome based\n\nCompany Car\n\nLaptop and Mobile\n\n22 days holiday plus stats – rises with service\nCash-back health scheme including remote GP services\nDiscounted products\n\nTHE NEXT STEPS!\n\nIt’s time for us to talk and for me to learn what makes you a great sales person.\n\nPlease send me your CV.\n\nThank you - Lindsay
