To grow our geotechnical team, we are looking for a Senior Engineer to join us. Working on a range of design projects, you’ll take a leading role in delivery our projects in your field.
Your key responsibilities will be:
1. Supporting the management of risk on the project by participating in inter-discipline reviews and close out review finding
2. Technical leadership and guidance to junior team members
3. Overseeing the production and delivery of the geotechnical calculations, drawing, specifications, and technical reports in line with the project programme
4. Checking and reviewing of reports and calculations
5. Work in collaboration with other design disciplines to ensure integrity of the overall design solution
6. Ensuring quality, safety and environment are ensured through use of the Integrated Management System
7. Participation in the resolution of technical issues

On top of that, you’ll have:
8. Hold a master's degree (MSc, MEng) in Civil Engineering
9. Chartered status
10. Significant Geotechnical abilities and experience
11. Experience working in a design environment (some site experience as well is preferred)
12. A working knowledge of a range of geotechnical software, including Geo Studio suite (Slope/W, Seep/W) and Plaxis
13. Experience in planning, supervising, and designing elements of a project, with the ability to apply current standards and technical best practice
14. Well-rounded geotechnical design experience
15. Be proficient in the evaluation and interpretation of ground investigation data
16. The ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with people at all levels, across the project organisation and externally with demonstrated ability to prepare project reports
17. Full UK driving licence
