We're looking for a proactive Area Sales Executive to join our Materials Handling team. If you thrive on building relationships, securing new business, and aren't afraid to pick up the phone or get out there and meet potential clients, this is the role for you. We'll give you all the training you need - your job is to turn that knowledge into results.
About this Role
You'll be responsible for securing short- and long-term rentals of our forklift trucks while promoting other Dawsongroup products and services across the Midlands. You'll work closely with our team to drive sales and ensure our fleet stays in high demand.
1. Identifying and securing new rental and purchase opportunities.
2. Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
3. Researching and targeting potential customers through industry insights and networking.
4. Following up on leads and enquiries, ensuring a smooth sales process.
5. Promoting Dawsongroup's full range of asset solutions to clients.
You're a natural salesperson - confident, motivated, and ready to go after new business. You know how to connect with people, negotiate a deal, and close a sale. You're also highly organised and can keep track of opportunities while managing customer relationships.
Minimum Requirements
1. Full, valid UK driving licence - essential for meeting clients.
2. Sales experience - you know how to find and secure new business.
3. Great communicator - confident face-to-face, on the phone, and over email.
4. High level of personal presentation - first impressions count.
5. Tech-savvy - experience with CRM systems is a plus.
