Process Controller - Freezer Pack B - 223 - 06.00-18.00 - £12.85 per hour
As a Process Controller, you will be required to monitor and control the quality of all processes within the factory.
Any issues or concerns with quality must be highlighted to the area Line Controller, Operation Team Leader, or Department Manager for immediate corrective action.
Effective liaison, team working, and interaction with other operatives and supervisory staff are fundamental.
The job is performed mainly in a temperature-controlled area and involves extensive periods standing.
Shift: B Shift: 223 shift pattern 06:00-18:00, Week 1 Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday, Week 2 Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Pay rate: £12.85 per hour
Duties/responsibilities:
* Carry out tasks as trained.
* Advise managers when not trained for tasks you are being asked to carry out.
* Not undertake any tasks where training has not taken place.
* Work in a manner that promotes the health and safety of oneself and others.
* Report any health and safety issues to your immediate manager.
* Report any accidents or near misses to the first aider in the area.
* Set a good example of behavior.
* Work in a manner that ensures Quality and Hygiene standards are maintained in the production environment.
* Ensure productivity standards are maintained.
* You may be asked to work in any area of the business as demand requires.
* Carry out a reasonable amount of overtime or work outside core hours to meet orders and business demand.
* Work in a manner that actively seeks to reduce any negative environmental impact in relation to the processes and procedures operating within your area and across the wider business (e.g., reduction of waste, recycling, etc.).
* Be ready at the start of shift to carry out specified checks in an accurate, timely, and methodical manner, causing minimum delay or disruption to the production process.
* Record all information generated throughout the shift on the appropriate sheets accurately and legibly.
* Quickly report any anomalies to the appropriate manager for corrective action.
* Ensure any needed equipment is available and functioning to complete checks competently and efficiently.
* Check and operate all designated weighing, measuring, or monitoring equipment to ensure it is fully operational and accurate within specifications.
* Acquaint yourself with changes to product specifications and testing procedures as they evolve.
* At shift changeover, ensure all relevant information, documentation, and equipment are passed to the oncoming Process Controller.
* Any other duties that are required.
