The Art School Restaurant has been designed to deliver the highest fine dining experience in an atmosphere where food and wine lovers feel relaxed and comfortable. Here, local and international guests can enjoy Paul Askew’s award-winning preparation and innovative presentation – all complemented by a carefully chosen stock of world wines, spirits and beers.
Behind the scenes the international team of experienced chefs, waiters and sommeliers demonstrates a signature commitment to encouraging and mentoring young, local talent through an apprenticeship scheme that works alongside the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts and local colleges.
About the Position:
As a Chef de Rang at the Art School Restaurant you will be expected to arrive on time, be immaculate in terms of appearance and ready to provide a service that goes over and above to exceed the expectations of the guest. You will possess excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to quickly build rapport with guests from all backgrounds & levels of society. You should possess excellent time management skills, the desire to learn and develop within your role and thrive in a fast-paced service-driven environment.
You will report to the Restaurant Manager & Assistant Restaurant Manager.
