Your Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging and effective Geography lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, ensuring alignment with the curriculum.
* Develop and implement dynamic lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
* Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments.
* Foster a deep understanding of geographical concepts.
* Promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
* Incorporate current events and real-world applications into lessons.
* Support students in developing independent research skills.
* Collaborate with colleagues within the Humanities department.
* Contribute to the co-curricular program by organizing field trips or geography clubs.
* Maintain accurate records of student progress, behaviour, and attendance.
What we’re looking for:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Experience teaching Geography in secondary schools.
* Strong knowledge of the geography curriculum and assessment practices.
* A bachelor’s degree in Geography or a related discipline (desirable).
* Ability to inspire those you teach!
* Passion for Geography.
