Job Description:
Protocol Education is looking for caring, supportive and dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) who have experience working with pupils either as part of small groups or on a one-to-one basis. We are recruiting for LSAs to work in primary schools based in Ashford, as well as surrounding areas.
If you have experience as a Teaching Assistant or a Learning Support Assistant and have supported children with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) or offered general classroom support, then please get in contact and apply!
The ideal candidate will have:
1. The ability to work well within a team
2. Passion and interest in working with children with SEND
3. A patient and understanding approach
4. Availability to start as soon as possible
5. Experience providing 1:1 support
6. Ability to support children in working towards therapy targets
7. Availability for at least 3 days per week
8. Ability to work collaboratively with the class teacher
