The role
The Group Head of HR Systems, Processes and Analytics is responsible for leading the strategic development and operational excellence of HR systems, processes and data analytics across the business. This role focuses on leveraging technology and data to streamline HR operations, enhance decision-making and drive organisational performance. The role currently combines the operational responsibility of providing HR reports on a scheduled and ad hoc basis with the strategic responsibility of providing the business with the tools and systems needed to implement and sustain standardised processes across the Group. Our ambition is to empower the wider HR community and business leaders to become more self-sufficient with HR data and analytics, providing them with the support and actionable insights they need to drive the business forward.
The role holder will be an integral member of the Group Senior HR Leadership Team (a small but mighty team of 7), contributing to the development and delivery of group-wide people strategies and systems landscape which will underpin long term business growth and success. Working collaboratively across the Azets HR community will be fundamental to the success of this role.
Key accountabilities
Leadership and Strategy:
1. Craft and implement a comprehensive HR systems and analytics strategy
2. Guide and mentor a team of HR analytics and systems professionals, supporting their growth and professional development.
3. Partner with senior leadership to address HR-related business challenges through data-driven insights.
4. Stay ahead of emerging trends and best practices in HR analytics and systems to deliver impactful innovations.
HR Systems Management:
5. Develop and execute a HR systems improvement strategy
6. Ensure effective operation of key HR systems and collaborate with IT and HR stakeholders to address any issues.
7. Ensure HR processes and system configurations are standardised across countries.
8. Drive continuous improvement of HR processes and contribute to process mapping and design.
Data Integrity and Analytics:
9. Maintain the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of Azets' People data through effective data governance.
10. Establish documented common data definitions aligned with Finance,
11. Manage HR data in line with GDPR requirements.
12. Utilise HR data to provide actionable insights for decision-making
HR MI Dashboards:
13. Develop and maintain HR MI dashboards (Tableau) to measure Group People data against targets.
14. Ensure stakeholders have access to dashboards and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
15. Act as the Business Owner of HR KPIs
16. Map current operating models and propose a standard approach to target operating models across support functions.
17. Develop a detailed Job Architecture framework.
18. Lead broader HR projects as required.
Skills & experience
19. Recognised HR or related qualification
20. Experience of working in a senior /central HR role, driving People Analytics and setting standards for HR data, driving change initiatives within HR
21. Experience of working in a global organisation
22. Experience of leading a multi-disciplinary team and the proven ability to influence and drive change
23. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
24. Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
25. The experience, confidence and skill set to serve as a coach/trusted advisor for senior leaders
26. Proficiency in creating interactive and visually compelling dashboards and reports (or working with data teams to produce dashboards and reports). Experience in working with various data sources.
27. Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency in pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, and complex formula creation. Experience in data analysis, modeling, and automation using Excel.
28. Excellent market knowledge of relevant HR systems and reporting tools
29. Has good business acumen, balancing theory and practicality to define solutions
