With a commitment to excellence and compliance, they are now seeking a proactive VAT and Tax Analyst to join their Finance team. As VAT and Tax Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the Group's VAT compliance across all subsidiaries. You'll work closely with the finance, development, and property teams to manage VAT treatment on a range of activities - from property development and asset management to day-to-day operations. Description Prepare and submit VAT returns for the Group and its subsidiaries, ensuring full compliance with HMRC requirements. Advise internal stakeholders on VAT implications of transactions and projects, particularly in property and development. Support partial exemption calculations and Capital Goods Scheme adjustments. Monitor changes in VAT legislation and assess their impact on the Group. Maintain accurate VAT records and documentation for audit purposes. Completing CIS and Corporation Tax returns Collaborate with external tax advisors and HMRC when required. Assist in VAT training and awareness across the business. Profile Part-qualified or qualified in a relevant tax or accounting discipline (e.g. ATT, CTA, ACA, ACCA). Minimum of 2 years' experience in VAT, ideally within a housing association, construction, real estate in a multi-entity organisation. Understanding of partial exemption and property-related VAT issues. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
