Are you excited about building high-performing teams that drive the success of innovative AI technologies? As a Head of Finance at Orbital Witness, you'll play a critical role in leading our financial strategy and operations as we scale. Reporting to the COO, you will be a key business partner to the leadership team, helping drive informed decision-making and preparing the company for its next phase of growth.

What to be excited by:
* Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Own and develop financial models that provide insight into business performance, growth opportunities, and funding strategies.
* Strategic Finance: Provide commercial insights and support strategic decisions, particularly around SaaS metrics, market expansion, and fundraising.
* Financial Controls & Operations: Oversee financial reporting, compliance, and risk management, ensuring solid practices in financial governance. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and monthly close of accounts.
* Team, Process, and AI Leadership: Deliver scale by pursuing automation and streamlining processes. Rethink finance with a desire to integrate AI into workflows. Grow, mentor, and build a finance team.
* Cash Flow & Capital Management: Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital, ensuring the business is well-positioned for growth.
Who are you?:
* Finance Leader with Growth Experience: Proven experience in a B2B SaaS, high-growth, or VC-backed business. Prior experience as a Head of Finance or FP&A Lead is ideal. Experience in US expansion or international is ideal.
* FP&A and Modeling Expertise: Deep understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic finance to support scaling and fundraising. Loves working with revenue operations.
* Strategic Thinker, Hands-On Operator: Ability to balance strategic thinking with execution of financial operations. Willing to dive into spreadsheets, review P&L statements, and solve operational finance issues.
* Overseeing Financial Control Responsibilities: You have a strong background in financial control, ensuring effective management of accounting, tax, and compliance functions while maintaining rigorous financial governance.
* U.S. Financial Expertise: You have a good understanding of U.S. tax regulations, compliance requirements, and financial structuring to support expansion in the region. You are well-versed in key considerations such as the pros and cons of storing cash in a parent company versus a subsidiary, transfer pricing, inter-company transactions, and international cash flow management.
* Strong Stakeholder Management: Able to partner effectively with leadership and external advisors. An ability to communicate with simplicity and enable others to track KPIs effectively.
* Qualified Accountant: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification (or equivalent)
