What will you be doing?
There is no such thing as a typical day in Branch life at Keyline but you can always expect good customer service and a team which is willing to help whenever needed. You can also expect to gain exposure across a number of areas within your branch, allowing you to see where your strengths and interests lie and the direction you would like to develop your career in.
Your role responsibilities will require you to:
1. Our success is built on strong relationships with our customers so it’s essential that you can help deliver the highest standards of service - the key thing is to be helpful and friendly at all times, you will likely get to know our customers on a first name basis.
2. Get to know customers better by talking over the counter and on the phone by taking orders, providing quotes, offering possible solutions and relatable products
3. Full training is provided in order to use our point of sale systems.
4. Safety is at the forefront of everything we do, your aim will be to ensure that our standards never slip, this means maintaining a tidy and safe working environment.
5. Use your learnt knowledge of our products to assist with enquiries, provide product information, prepare quotes and help each customer with their purchase
6. We are a multi skilled branch so everyone is compatible with other areas of the branch. This means being outside, gaining a forklift licence and being on the front line outside will also become part of your day to day routine.
For this role you will be joining the team in Aberdeen Keyline. This is a well established and competitive branch where they deal with a lot of customers in a day. Joining this team you will be placed in a fast paced environment and will be at the forefront of our business with this customer facing role. The team is very friendly and has a lot of experience between the staff members in the team. They strive to make sure their service is the best in town. With a lot of local competition we are looking for somebody who can bring enthusiasm and drive to our team to make the branch complete. Experience is not necessary if you have the right attitude towards our branch culture and safety!!
Right from the start you’ll be supported in your development. You’ll join our Keyline Civils Specialist Certificate, a 12 month Apprenticeship that will give you the tools to be successful in your role. Over the length of your apprenticeship programme, you’ll explore:
