An opportunity for a Senior Recruitment Consultant in Trades & Labour has now arisen to join this exciting & dynamic team.
ROLE SPECIFICATION:
As Senior Recruitment Consultant you will be responsible for running a profitable temp desk, supported by the City Calling resourcing team. The role will include proactive business development & account management of clients, plus sourcing of skilled & senior workers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Targeted business development & sales planning
2. Making outbound calls to potential clients and building long-term relationships
3. Attending meetings with clients to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions.
4. Sourcing suitable candidates for vacancies using various methods, such as advertising, networking, and referrals.
5. Working closely with our Resourcing Team, motivating each other to achieve outstanding results
6. Building and maintain relationships with clients, providing excellent service and support throughout the recruitment process.
7. Attending networking events to drive new business opportunities and solidify existing relationships.
8. Creating relationships with & managing candidates, providing advice & feedback
9. Site visits to check on workforce & liaise with the client
10. Working to targets and KPIs, and reporting on your performance and progress.
11. Negotiating rates & contracts with clients
12. Creating regular social media content & networking, staying ahead of market trends.
13. Demonstrating a strong understanding of the industry and being a subject matter expert
14. Working collaboratively with other companies within the group, and cross selling group services & products.
15. Attending & contributing to Group BD Meetings & Team meetings
16. Preparing & presenting Sales Reports
17. Obtaining market intelligence & staying updated on industry trends and competitor activities to influence recruitment strategies.
18. Ensuring adherence to processes, compliance & employment law, whilst maintaining accurate candidate & client records in our systems.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
1. Experienced & proven track record in recruitment business development and client management.
2. Candidate & client networks in Construction, Rail, Energy or Infrastructure
3. Strong negotiation skills, with demonstrated experience of success.
4. Experience in lead generation.
5. Previous account management responsibilities
6. Strong commercial business acumen
7. Effective at planning and organising work.
8. Demonstrate strong logical and critical thinking.
9. History of achieving / overachieving KPIs & targets
10. The ability to overcome objections and be persistent - resilient & proactive
11. Self motivated & dynamic
