Job details
We are looking for a Senior Philanthropy Manager to oversee a Capital appeal project related to the new home project:
1. Develop a compelling, well-articulated case for support that clearly explains the purpose and impact of the capital project.
2. Use wealth screening to uncover High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI) within your current supporter base and target demographics who are likely to make significant contributions.
3. Segment screened prospects by wealth capacity, giving affinity, and interests to tailor communication and engagement strategies.
4. Cultivate relationships with HNWI to secure sustainable funding.
5. Develop and implement strategies to increase donations, particularly targeting HNWI, corporate partners, and philanthropic foundations.
6. Identify and segment potential donors to tailor approaches for different groups, leveraging data insights.
7. Set clear, achievable goals and KPIs for fundraising campaigns, while keeping track of market trends and opportunities.
8. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential donors, with a focus on high-value prospects. Use networking, research, and outreach activities to expand the organisation's donor base.
9. Organize high-quality events (both virtual and in-person) to engage donors and raise funds, focusing on experiences that highlight the organisation’s mission.
10. Oversee campaigns to leverage significant awareness days, matching opportunities, or challenges that drive giving.
11. Plan, develop and implement a successful major gifts fundraising strategy for project and revenue-based income in the organisation, in line with strategic objectives, financial and non-financial KPI’s to realise organisational goals.
12. Manage and grow a portfolio of existing and potential philanthropists to secure high value (5 and 6+ figure gifts) and multiyear financial gifts, proactively seeking opportunities to engage them with our work and regularly demonstrating the impact of their gift.
13. Work collaboratively within our Fundraising and Trusts and Grants teams to drive income growth.
14. Personally solicit and support other key internal stakeholders in soliciting major gifts.
15. Collaborate effectively across the major gifts team and wider hospice seeking to catalyse all funding opportunities where appropriate.
16. Produce a range of tailored, high quality and inspirational supporter communications and stewardship plans.

£44,000 - £50,000 depending on experience
