Overview: We are currently looking to recruit an IT Infrastructure Administrator Apprentice to join our IT Support team on as an apprentice which could lead to a permanent basis if successful in the role. The main purpose of the role is to provide technical IT training both on the job and via external training courses to someone with a genuine interest of a career in IT. The successful candidate will work in a team which provides technical support to Royal London colleagues for all Hardware and Software across the group. Main responsibilities: Providing professional IT support to all Royal London colleagues via our Incident and Service Request processes. Supporting both hardware and software across the group. Proactively managing your own workload/work queue. Liaising with colleagues in the IT Service Desk & 3rd line Specialist teams to find solutions to problems, and to knowledge share. Identifying opportunities for improvements in services and process enhancements so that we can always strive to do our jobs in the most efficient way. Supporting the delivery & implementation of projects. Desirable skills: Good communication skills with a desire to help people Interest in computers and ICT Team player Salary: £23,800 per annum. Working week: Monday-Friday, 9am-5.30pm.
