Job description Senior Building Surveyor 37 hours a week Band 10 – £49,207 - £52,760 Permanent We are small but mighty Council with a large diverse commercial portfolio valued circa £350m. We are currently looking to appoint an ambitious Building Surveyor, to join an existing Estates team. You will be working on high-profile projects in our very diverse borough for a commercially minded council. You will be working on a diverse portfolio of assets that includes commercial, industrial, retail, office, theatres, hotels, and sports facilities. The job description outlines the detail of what the job involves but as a minimum you will: be an experienced Chartered Building Surveyor, passionate about your profession. have experience of managing capital projects, including design / contract management. be commercially minded. thrive on a demanding and diverse workload. be excellent at developing strategic solutions to complex challenges. About you We are looking for a team player with strong interpersonal skills, preferably educated to degree level in the building surveying discipline. You should have working knowledge of Council Services and good knowledge of legislation and compliance within Building Surveying.
