Benefit from support and engagement through dedicated management and leadership As ABP continue the journey of investing and developing our Ipswich Beacon Marina, which forms as part of the Beacon Marina Collection, we are looking to recruit a Marina Operative to join our small and dedicated team. We are looking for someone to assist in ensuring we offer our leisure and commercial customers an excellent experience during their stay with us at our award winning, 5 Gold Anchor Marina. Day-to-Day Duties: Operating a 75-tonne Wise boat hoist: Responsible for lifting and launching vessels. Pressure washing vessels: Ensuring they are clean and properly laid up. Forklift operations: Handling various tasks with the forklift. Towing vessels : Safely moving vessels within the marina. Marina maintenance: Performing upkeep and repairs as needed. Selling berths and marina services: Promoting and selling the marina's offerings. Fuelling vessels and managing fuel stock: Overseeing the fuelling process and maintaining fuel inventory. Key Qualifications: Marina experience: Ideal but not essential. Interest in boating: A must-have Hoist experience: A plus. General plant background: Forklift experience preferred. Team player: Ability to work well within a team. Customer service skills: Enjoy interacting with customers as you'll be front of house. Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a 1-hour lunch break with occasional weekends on a rota basis.
