We're looking for a proactive Group Financial Controller to join our national team at our Bristol office, where we can work together to achieve our mission to deliver innovative solutions that help businesses make the two degrees of change.

Role Accountabilities:
* Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans and budgets. Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for management and stakeholders.
* Financial Management: Oversee all aspects of financial operations, including accounting, treasury, and tax.Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards (e.g., UK GAAP).Manage cash flow and optimise working capital.
* Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, including credit, market, and operational risks. Develop and implement effective risk management strategies.
* Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and mentorship. Recruit, train, and develop talent within the finance department.
* Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with other departments to support business growth and achieve strategic objectives. Build strong relationships with banks, investors, and other external stakeholders
* Company: Convey passion and belief in the business and support the drive to a net zero world. Provide a contribution to continuous collaboration and innovation. Support managers in the provision of Health, Safety and Wellbeing in the workplace. Adhere to company policy, guidelines, and standard operating procedures. Ensure you act as a role model, work collaboratively, act professionally and enhance positive morale and well-being at internal/external events.

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Attributes
* Relevant Accounting qualification and experience in an accounting corporate environment
* Strong financial analysis and modelling skills
* A proactive and results-oriented approach to work that brings drive, energy and passion to the role
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Flexible, positive and committed team member, who works to very high standards
