Role Summary
Working within the Technical Department, the Process Engineer will be responsible for identifying, leading and progressing projects and initiatives to deliver continual improvement objectives across the site as well as delivering day to day technical plant support.
Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with the Technical Manager to execute the site's capital improvement plan.
2. Take responsibility for achieving specific improvement goals for the site.
3. Analyse production data to identify issues and drive improvements.
4. Enforce high standards across site areas and with contracted companies.
5. Lead commissioning activities for site improvement projects and modifications.
6. Work with contractors and suppliers to ensure project deliverables are met.
7. Stay informed on technological innovations, suggesting improvements and implementing best practices.
What We Are Looking For
1. Relevant Education: HND or degree in chemical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering (or equivalent).
2. Continuous Improvement: Demonstrated ability in process improvement and project management.
3. Manufacturing Experience: Engineering background in a manufacturing setting.
4. Technical & Commercial Skills: Commissioning experience and awareness of technical and business needs.
5. IT Proficiency: Strong IT skills; AutoCAD knowledge is a plus.
6. Self-Motivation & Communication: Capable of prioritizing, effective communication, and resource negotiation.
7. Analytical & Adaptable: Skilled in analysis, thoroughness, adaptability, and building productive relationships focused on efficiency and results.
