Health and Safety Advisor - Apprenticeship programme As our SHES Apprentice, you’ll be part of our SHES team in supporting our construction partners to ensure that construction phase activities are caried out safely, ensuring that all networks to be adopted are fit for purpose. You’ll need to be agile and able to balance a varied workload, as no two days are the same. This is a vital role within our team and you’ll be fully supported at all times. What Will You Be Doing Learning to support the SHES Team to discharge their Health & Safety & Quality responsibilities towards our Construction Partners as defined by our network procedures Learning how our Asset Management Teams ensure compliance with all requirements are met. Learning how to carry out site inspections in accordance with the Company procedure and, analysing all data, making recommendations to avoid any reoccurrences of non-conformance. Inputting and collating data on SHES related issues into Company database, to assist in determining areas for continuous improvement through trends and data analysis Working towards the Institute of Apprenticeships standards for SHES technician Full support and assistance will be provided. What qualification will I receive through the apprenticeship? As part of this apprenticeship you will follow the Safety, Health and Environment Technician Level 3 apprenticeship standard which takes up to 24 months to complete, along with the skills and experience to build a promising career within the industry. What do I need to be considered for the apprenticeship? GCSE Maths and English at grade A- C / 4-9 (or equivalent) You don’t need to have previous experience for the role, but you do need to be ready to learn, have a positive mindset and a can-do attitude Eligible to work in the UK with a valid work permit if applicable.
