Financial Planner - servicing role of existing clients
Location: Horsham offices - come to offices 1 - 2 days per week
Support: Full administration and paraplanning support
My client is a wealth planning firm with offices in Horsham that offers financial advice to HNW retirees, accumulators, local families, and SME owners based across Surrey, Sussex, Kent, and London. They currently manage the affairs of 500+ clients with assets ranging from £100k to £1m+. The advisers consult on pensions, investments, tax planning, cashflow modelling, and retirement planning. They also have mortgage/protection advisers in-house who deal with more transactional advice and generate many internal referrals. Additionally, they receive numerous recommendations from a solicitor firm with whom they have a longstanding relationship.
The Managing Director is creating a brand-new role for a Financial Planner who will be responsible for managing a portion of his existing book of business as the MD needs to pass on some of his clients and delegate the annual review responsibilities to this new adviser. This is a servicing role and will suit a candidate with 2+ years of advising experience who can manage an existing book of business and generate new business from recommendations and referrals.
Salary: £60k - £75k (negotiable)
Bonuses: 20% bonuses on initial advice fees
