Job Overview
We're currently recruiting for a talented Events and Marketing Co-ordinator to join us at Chorley Golf Club.
The purpose of this role is to generate event/weddings sales and manage the bookings from show round to event date, which will include ‘hosting’ the events and assisting with general administration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing various events from conception to completion.
This role requires excellent communication skills, strong leadership abilities, and a flair for creativity. The Event Coordinator will work closely with clients and vendors to ensure that all aspects of the events run smoothly and meet the highest standards.
Requirements:
1. Previous, proven experience within an events environment.
2. Meet prospective clients at the initial enquiry and professionally organise their event at the club.
3. Maximise revenue opportunities.
4. Available to work weekends, predominantly to meet and greet couples or event hosts that you have liaised with from initial appointment right up until their big day.
5. Take ownership to ensure service standards are met and maintained where possible.
6. Work alongside the operational team to ensure that the function room is always set up ready for any viewings or the next event.
7. Impeccable attention to detail and forward planning.
8. Be confident whilst dealing with customers.
9. Events promotion and marketing.
Further daily tasks to be included and detailed at interview stage.
20 hours per week, to include evenings and weekends to match business requirements; overtime will be available.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.97 per hour
