Associate Programme Delivery Manager - Fixed Term Contract (FTC)

As an Associate Programme Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for developing the right delivery strategies and tactics to achieve the outcomes for the product teams and determine what work must get done. You will be keeping an eye for how much to invest in certain efforts, and how to prioritize opportunities.
You will join a diverse team in Product, Tech including 3rd party suppliers, when required, and Operations on a transformation journey. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to be part of a market-changing set of products, acting as the glue between the technical departments in the company and the stakeholders.
This is a fixed term contract FTC with the opportunity to become permanent from 1st of April 2025.
What you'll do
* As part of the Advertising Technology Platform Delivery leadership team, you will provide an interface between your Domain and collaborators across Sky. Ensuring working relationships remain strong, Delivery roadmaps are defined and aligned to AdTech Product Strategy & Roadmaps, work intake operates efficiently, and priorities continue to be aligned.
* Lead the planning of Features across multi-disciplinary teams working in close collaboration with the delivery teams for your domain, delivering against the Domain's product strategy promoting and achieving customer centric product growth.
* Management of internal stakeholders and 3rd party suppliers to ensure alignment within the Domain and buy in on initiatives and change.
* Be responsible for a group of dedicated hard-working Product Owners within your Domain, ensuring their personal development plans provides for growth and continuous improvement.
* Provide up to date reporting and status to stakeholders including the management of the capex & opex budget and forecasting for your Domain.
* As part of the Delivery leadership team, you will work to apply best practices to agile portfolio delivery to ensure quality delivery of services.
What you'll bring
Must have
* Previous experience as a Product Owner using Jira and Aha! for planning & roadmapping.
* Technology background.
* Solid experience of Scaled Agile / Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
* Experience in managing a delivery portfolio with at least 2 separate teams with a mix of onshore, offshore & 3rd party cross functional skills, with scrum mastering undertaken by the teams instead of a separate role.
* Experience in being responsible for CAPEX & OPEX budgeting.
* Line management responsibility for 1 - 2 Product Owners.
Desirable
* The ability to think strategically, pragmatically, and positively about product, technical and cross-functional challenges in order to set and execute strategies to deliver desired outcomes and business objectives, collaborating with multiple internal and external partners for the benefit of our customers.
* Strong leadership skills within a tech and product led environment with good communication, influencing and relationship leadership skills across all levels of the organisation.
* Experience leading product and software development portfolio delivery, spanning a couple of years through both internal and 3rd party delivery organisations.
* Experience of effectively managing 3rd Party suppliers.
* Fantastic communication and negotiation skills.
* Commercially equipped and analytical.
* Media/Advertising industry experience an advantage.
* This position would best suit a motivated Domain Lead, Programme Lead who has experience working hands on but also helped to build and scope out a team. You must be passionate about product, with the customer at the forefront of everything.
