What You’ll Do
As an Operations Planner, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will:
* Develop and maintain production and material plans, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions where needed.
* Collaborate closely with team leaders, program managers, and buyers to ensure alignment and effective communication.
* Manage capacity planning processes and lead regular production review meetings.
* Support the team in meeting and exceeding sales goals of over £205 million.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Load customer demands into the Master Production Schedule.
* Manage Planner workbench activities to optimize efficiency.
* Report on material availability, job progress, and inventory management.
* Build strong relationships across teams and contribute to a culture of collaboration and mutual success.
* Develop innovative solutions to process challenges, always aligning with company objectives.
Your Skills & Experience
We’re looking for someone with:
* Strong MRP II planning skills and a good understanding of manufacturing processes.
* Proven experience working in a manufacturing environment, ideally with ERP systems.
* Exceptional communication and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
* Familiarity with complex bills of material and routings (advantageous).
* APICS or Institute of Operations Management qualifications (desirable but not essential).
