Work Schedule
Weekend Office Hours:
Work Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, including a one-hour lunch break each day.
Attend a Friday handover meeting at 4:00 PM and provide a Monday morning handover at 9:00 AM.
Out-of-Hours Coverage:
Hold the out-of-hours phone on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings to provide support as needed.
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Weekend Care Supervisor to join our team based at Weston Park, Shifnal, Shropshire. As a Weekend Care Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of care for our clients during weekend hours.
Oversee and coordinate the delivery of person-centred care to clients during weekend shifts
Supervise and support care staff, providing guidance and mentorship as needed
Ensure compliance with all relevant care regulations and standards
Manage staff rotas and allocate duties effectively
Conduct regular assessments and update care plans as required
Liaise with clients families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders
Respond promptly and appropriately to any emergencies or incidents
Maintain accurate records and complete necessary documentation
Participate in staff training and development initiatives
Contribute to the continuous improvement of care services

NVQ Level 3 or above in Health and Social Care, or equivalent qualification

In-depth knowledge of care regulations and standards
Understanding of person-centred care principles and practices
