Play a key role in strengthening how we work and deliver
As our new Engineering Coordinator, you will be a vital part of the engineering team, supporting the effective management of inventory, assets, and contractors. Your role is essential in helping us improve our systems and standardise best practices across stores and our CMMS (Fiix). With a strong focus on digitalisation and continuous improvement, your work will enhance the reliability and efficiency of our operations.
Your day-to-day will involve overseeing inventory control, developing and updating our digital maintenance systems, and ensuring robust contractor management processes. You’ll also work with colleagues across the organisation and external partners to maintain a high standard of operational excellence.
1. Manage stock levels, purchase orders, and store standards in line with budget requirements
2. Establish and migrate inventory data into the Fiix CMMS, ensuring accuracy and completeness
3. Coordinate with external contractors, scheduling site visits and maintaining safety compliance records
4. Prepare monthly reports on inventory and engineering spend to support budget control
5. Support creation and maintenance of SOPs to ensure consistency in stores and systems procedures
Bring your systems thinking and confidence to drive real improvement
You’ll be someone who takes initiative and embraces structure. With strong IT literacy and excellent communication skills, you're eager to contribute to a team that values continuous improvement and collaboration. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be trusted to own your area, connect across departments, and make tangible improvements.
We’re looking for someone who has experience with inventory or asset management systems, ideally in an engineering or technical environment. A proactive approach, comfort with data systems, and a readiness to collaborate across teams are key.
6. Strong IT skills, especially in Excel and digital inventory systems (e.g., CMMS)
7. Proven experience in stock or asset management in a technical/engineering setting
8. Confident communicator with ability to coordinate external contractors and internal teams
9. Strong attention to detail and ability to drive standardisation and improvements
10. Fluent in English and legally entitled to work in the UK
