An entertainment services company is looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join the team for a 6 month fixed term contract. This internationally renowned organisation is well known within the TV & Film industry and due to a busy period ahead, there is a requirement for this additional resource. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, this position will be a mix of day-to-day accounting and project work. To be a suitable candidate, you will need to have proven/extensive experience of both financial/statutory and management accounting, along with having a sound working knowledge of Oracle. You will need to self motivated, possess great communication & interpersonal skills, having a friendly, 'can-do’ manner and be willing to get involved with a multitude of tasks. Responsibilities of the role include: Project work: Forensic review of all balance sheets across 3 entities to bring up to date Review P&L classifications/coding Set up FY24 audit files including supporting breakdowns & analysis Assist with setup of statutory adjustments Assist with the set up of management accounts files Assist with classification of costs/suppliers by entity Support setup of revised capitalisation process Ad hoc project & analysis Provide support to the wider finance team to include management of ledgers and reconciliation, bank reconciliations, credit control, and payment runs Assist with the resolution of finance related queries (customer, supplier, internal) Candidate specifications: Preferably qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA or equivalent) or extensive relevant experience Experience of preparing accounts for statutory audit is essential Extensive working knowledge of Oracle Excellent Excel Great attention to detail, deadline orientated and able to produce accurate work under pressure Exceptional communication (verbal & written) and sound interpersonal skills Self motivated, logical, can-do attitude Friendly, approachable and great team player Please note only suitable applicants will be contacted regarding this position.
