A bit about the role As a Children's Services Worker you will provide a safe, supportive and welcoming environment for both children and families. You will organise and facilitate contact between parents and children, whilst keeping a record of visits to discuss outcomes at contact review meetings. This role requires you to facilitate meetings for multiple families, therefore you must possess the ability to manage caseloads effectively and efficiently. About the service The Vale Contact Centre provides supervised contact for children and their families. The children are placed within the care of the local authority while there are on-going court proceedings. Although the main base is at LDS House Barry, there may be times when you are out in the community at various venues throughout the Vale of Glamorgan. We use system of whole-family support to contribute to the wellbeing of families, with a view to provide stability and enable them to overcome difficulties and live happier lives. How you'll help to create brighter futures Organising and Supervising contact between children and parents in a safe and friendly environment.
