Day To Day Duties
Carry out EICRs and report works that are required and present your findings to your manager
Documenting works on the companys software and issue to the client
Ordering of materials
Organising works for electrical engineers and electrical teams
manage and motivate your colleagues
Being the main point of contact between the Contracts Manager and electricians/subcontractors
Carrying out Risk Assessment, toolbox talks and document
Verifying all inspection & testing results in a timely manner to prevent delays, ensuring that due care and attention is maintained when verifying results
Carry out quality checks on all works carried out
Ensure workmanship standards are achieved in accordance with the project specification and regulations
Demonstrate good judgement, problem solving, decision making, Build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues, be committed to delivering high quality results to clients and colleagues .
Plan your time to the best of your ability, be efficient for yourself and the engineers under your management
Tester/Installer minimum requirements (Skills & Qualifications)
To be a company QS and attend annual audits with the NICEIC
18th edition City and Guilds
NVQ level 3 electrical installation
Inspection and Testing 2391 or equivalent
Experienced at fault finding, testing and inspecting others work
Experience in maintenance, social housing, domesticand commercial sectors including fire alarms and emergency lighting
Previous supervisory experience
Good Microsoft knowledge and use of technology
Experienced in working on social housing contracts and alike
Driver's license
Tools
Training will be given on the click software to be able to create certifications either on the go or office based by using a tablet or laptop.
Package available:
Competitive salary £47,500.00 - £52,500.00 per annum depending on experience
