Job overview
This role will be an essential part of our Estates and Facilities team based at East Surrey Hospital and have oversight of all essential contracts ranging from critical plant maintenance through to Grounds keeping.
The Procurement and Contracts Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the Estates Engineering stores are maintained effectively and essential minimum stock supply (EMSS) is maintained at all times to aid reactive and planned maintenance. The post holder will also need to demonstrate excellent communication skills as the requirement for regular meetings with our contractors and suppliers is invaluable.
Main duties of the job
This position will cover the day-to-day management of the Estates Help desk and ensure that effective communication is maintained through our dedicated CAFM (Computer aided facilities Management System) at all times.
