We are seeking lifeguards to join our team. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service whilst supervising and assisting customers to enjoy their visit to the swimming facilities following Health and Safety guidance, Normal Operating and Emergency Action Plans and Procedures.
As part of the day to day running of a busy leisure facility, basic operation tasks will include checking of the rescue equipment, delivering high cleanliness standards and organisation of pool based activates, along with set ups and de-rigging equipment. This post includes working a variety of days, evenings, weekends and some bank holidays.
Applicants must hold a current NPLQ with a proven training record to support the qualification or be a competent swimmer able to undertake the NPLQ syllabus. Applicants will also be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check. As a professional qualified lifeguard, you will be responsible for attending regular staff training sessions to maintain your NPLQ.
We have 3 permanent part-time positions available across our two sites consisting of the patterns below:
Post 1 – 6.00 hours per week; Weekend working.
Post 2 – 6.00 hours per week; Weekend working.
Post 3 – 4.50 hours per week; Weekend working.
Casual positions are not available through this recruitment, we will only be recruiting to the permanent hours specified.
DBS clearance is required for this role.

The selection process will be a competency test followed by interview. Interviews will be held on week commencing 17th February 2025.
The assessment interview process will be carried out in person.
