Press Red Rentals Limited is a fast growing AV rental company, providing an extensive range of audio-visual, computer, LED screens, lighting, sound and video equipment for exhibitions and events across the UK and into Europe.
Audio Visual Warehouse Technician:
We are looking to recruit a Warehouse Technician to fill a new position within the business, based at our headquarters in Telford, Shropshire.
Reporting to the Rental Manager, you will assist with the day to day operation of the warehouse and vehicle fleet.
Previous experience in a similar role and the Audio, Visual, Sound and Light industry is an advantage, but not necessary.
Full time role generally Monday to Friday however will need to be flexible to the demands of the business ensuring out of hours weekday and weekend cover as required.
Although this role is mainly warehouse based, you may be required to work on site from time to time to gain experience and meet the demands of the business.
Assist in organisation of the warehouse, and in the upkeep of information on Rental Management System.
• Assist setting up, preparing and testing equipment prior to going on site or for client demonstrations when required.
• Assist with Loading and Unloading Vehicles and containers when required.
• To ensure all equipment is in a safe, working order before leaving the warehouse.
• Assist with regular inspections on all company vehicles, carry out basic vehicle maintenance and reporting any concerns or faults to the management team immediately.
• To assist with, or to take control, of logistical planning for vehicles and staff.
• When necessary, to assist with basic cable & equipment maintenance and repair.
Full, Clean UK Driving Licence
• Applicants must be based within a reasonable commute of the warehouse.
• A good all-round IT knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to pick up new software quickly. Forklift, manual handling, first aid and any other relevant health and safety training or certificates are beneficial, but not essential.
