Finance Manager – 3 Months FTC

Salary up to £60k (DOE)
Join our client based in Clackmannanshire on a 3-month Fixed Term Contract (FTC) for the role of Finance Manager. Supporting the wider business, this is an all-encompassing role suited to a hands-on accountant.
Your main responsibilities will include:
1. Uploading interfaces between the ERP system and accounting platform, identifying any errors.
2. Managing all payments, including BACs checks and inter-account transfers.
3. Being the main point of contact daily for the banks.
4. Maintaining the accounting platform and resolving any systems issues.
5. Management of the finance team.
6. Collaborating with the payroll department, including upload of wages journals.
7. Processing intercompany transactions and supporting period-end processes.
8. Generating month-end reports.
9. Preparing monthly management accounts and associated reconciliations and reporting packs.
10. Processing purchase ledger BACs runs.
11. Managing all HMRC submissions, reports, and returns.
12. Managing all regulatory and statutory submissions.
13. Supporting the business with forecasting and budgetary processes.
14. Providing annual audit and tax preparation, as well as any query responses.
Applicants will be a hands-on accountant, with previous experience within a similar senior finance position. It is important to have excellent problem-solving skills as well as proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel and accounting systems. Above all, you will have strong communication skills to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders across the business.
